Comes from the Latin "quod libel" -- What I like!

-- I couldn't wait for that scene in "What did you do in the war, Daddy?" when the Italian officer asks, "Where is the fire?"
-- Out grandkids always dug out their quoddly-bits of melted M&Ms from the muffins their mother had made, leaving

behind clumps of miniscule-crater-pitted, uneaten muffin-cake.
-- There's that one part in Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, toward the end of the second-third of the melody -- THAT's my quoddly-bit.... get transported away in a flood of all-body tingling goosebumps. Wow!
