Quick Time Event
A method of "gameplay" developed for video games, a 'quick time event' is a section of a game where you are only required to press specific buttons when they show up on screen. Usually, if a player misses a button press during a 'quick time event', the player's character dies.
I love Heavy Rain, but it seems like the game is a little too filled with quick time event based fight scenes rather than a really dynamic fighting system.

QuickTime
Awful media player by Apple which is usually installed by people only because they need it to run a .MOV file, Apple's shitty proprietary video format. Constantly freezes or lags out on older computers and laptops, and has the ugliest, most unintuitive GUI ever. Has features that require a paid PRO license which are free in other programs, such as video conversion. Has absolutely no support at all for the Windows version. It leaves behind various malware such as Apple Application Support and Apple Software Update when uninstalled.

Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. This term is most frequently heard in Paris but is slowly spreading to other parts of France.

A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.
Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”
Notes:
