A metaphor for getting a piece of work done as quickly as possible, usually a piece of work that you don't care about very much. Often used in advertising agencies.
"Hey Brett, the deadline for that print ad is 8am Monday morning, we really need to shit that puppy out if you don't want to work the weekend."
