pretailer

A company that sells a shitty unfinished product instead of taking the necessary time and resources to make a good product. Examples include fen-phen, Simcity 2013, Battlefield 4, and most egregiously, DayZ and all its clones.

DayZ will never become a finished product because they're making all the money in pretail, so there's no real motive to get it done right.

EA has turned into a full-on pretailer by rushing games like Simcity and Battlefield 4 to release before game features actually work.
