pescegan

Someone who consumes a vegan diet with the exception of fish and seafood.
Similar to a pescetarian (a vegetarian who consumes fish and seafood, but no other animal flesh), a pescegan consumes fish and seafood, but no other animal product (no dairy, eggs).

pescovegetarian

Someone who, for any of several possible reasons, does not eat warm-blooded animals or land animals. For instance, such a person may dislike the enslavement and cruelty inflicted on animals in factory farms; or one may be repulsed by the idea of eating another mammal. In other cases, one may simply practice pescovegetarianism for health reasons rather than ethical ones. Due to the apparently contradictory nature of the term, it is extremely liable to provoke glib knee-jerk reactions in others.
person #1: You eat fish? What a hypocrite you are, fish aren't vegetables. They suffer too.

person #2: You ass, you didn't even ask me why I'm a pescovegetarian.

person #3: No kidding. What a contemptible non sequitur person # 1 just made. The day someone coins a less clumsy word to denote a person whose meat diet is limited to cold-blooded sea animals, is the day I'll drop the term pescovegetarianism in exchange for that other, more descriptive, yet-to-be-coined term.

Pesco Vegan

A valid subgroup of Veganism coined by Olivia Mora in 2001 to describe those who abstain from all animal products (eggs, cheese, casein, whey, honey, etc.) but do eat fish for its healthful benefits. A Vegan driven solely by the desire for optimal health - not animal rights, which is a completely secondary reason.

Vastly different from a pescetarian or a Vegitarian in that they share the exact same strict rules as Vegans to exclude all forms or derivatives of dairy and eggs from their diet and exclude all possible forms of cross contamination.
A Pesco Vegan diet is healthiest. Pesco Vegans save animal lives too, they just don't claim to be perfect. Pesco Vegans are more committed to their diet due to their desire of self preservation, not idealistic altruism. Pesco Vegans do anti-fur protests too. Pesco Vegans don't judge.
