Its scientific name is the Nerium oleander. It is a pretty flower, but it is one of the most toxic, commonly grown garden plants in the world. It belongs to the Apocynaceae family. Any part of the oleander can be deadly, especially to children. Even just the smoke from a burning oleander could kill you.
