A term referring to the layering of socks to keep one's feet warm during cold outdoor excursions. Usually the last layer is a pair of polyester/wool blend work socks ("Nipigon Nylons")which both genders tend to wear during the winter season in Northern Ontario, Canada when enjoying outdoor recreation or performing work.
