neo nerd

This is a nerd that defines very differently from your average nerd. Neo nerds aren't identified as nerds or geeks and don't nessisarily appear as nerds, but sometimes weirdos or losers. Neo Nerds tend to listen to death metal all day, grow their hair super long and play war games and slaughtering games for a very excessive amount of time. They dress in their favourite death metal band shirt. Most commonly picutred with a goatee, sideburns, and thin glasses. They usually do not have a good range of knowledge, Although sometimes about war and weapons.
look around your school, im sure you'll find at least a few.

Neo-Nerd

A new evolution of the traditional nerd, the neo-nerd is one who grew up being bullied for various social offenses of the day (ie. playing Dungeons and Dragons, playing a “wussy instrument” like the tuba, collecting stamps, etc.) and now as an adult assimilates into society and uses the skills or knowledge from his nerd experiences to make life better for the greater public. The very essence of what it is to be cool in the modern age.
Wow! That neo-nerd just fixed my iPhone and didn't charge me for it.

Neo-Nerd

1. New Millennial wave of under qualified single minded enthusiasts
A. somebody who is considered to be excessively interested in a subject or activity that is regarded as too technical or scientific; but lacks enough skill, knowledge or common sense to be anything but dangerous to said process and commonly makes changes in proven, existing, and working hardware or software just to look like he is doing something.
Much to the detriment of the end user.
The Windows Vista debacle was obviously the work of Neo-Nerds.

The F 35 replaces several specific role aircraft and is about 1/2 as proficient as each of those aircraft are in their particular specialty with the additional benefit of costing twice or more of the original cost of of said aircraft it is intended to replace.

Of coarse; this unprecedented display of ill-logic would not be possible without a multitude of Neo Nerds in the government and private sector working hand in hand tirelessly to achieve a level of mediocrity never before seen in such a vast DOD project. Kudos to all! -not!

I mean I guess bro

a word of expression to when you give up on comprehending someone's words of ignorance, stupidity, absurdity or are too exhausted to formulate a proper response.

Commonly seen in TikTok comment sections in replies to lazy attempts at humor, overconfidentally incorrect statement, or an over-the-top comment or when someone completely misses the mark on something.
"actually... incorrect statement, hope this helps!"

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.
Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.
