Honestly, she's that blunt, chill friend that sometimes gets/ feels forgotten herself. Low-key mom friend cause she gives you all her snacks :). She may not show that she cares that easily and sometimes you'll miss it, but it's there in her eyes when she says,"hey", when shes worried and shows you pictures of her cats :). She's amazing and even if she thinks she doesn't, she deserves the world. She that best friend that lets you forget all your worries. I love her. No homo. Absolutely the best 10/10. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
