A slew of funny and/or poor taste motivational/demotivational posters (mopo) relating to a significant series of related, and often disasterous, events.
Mopos about a nation being hit by devastating floods, bushfires, oilspills, hatred & violence, satan worshippers, earthquakes, famine (such as an icecream sundae substituted with shit), vermin and other apocalyptic-omen-like events. Collectively the individual Mopos are a Mopocalypse.
When your dad has gone away for some time and your stuck with your mom.
She takes away your electronic devices if you misbehave, she makes you help her with chores, she cares about safety and not fun and worst of all there is no dad to have authority over what she says.
It's a true teenage disaster.
Mike: "Hey Chris isn't Allan suppose to be online?"
Chris:"Yeah but hes in a mompocalypse"
Mike:"PoorAllan"
A non-significant event that is blown vastly out proportion by news media.
That tornado watch ended up being a total mehpocalypse; I can't believe the news broadcasted over two entire episodes America's Next Top Model for a mere thunderstorm!
A mediocre show by Brendon Small, largely anticipated because of his genius previous series, Home Movies. It has its funny moments, but it's clearly not as good.
Unimprovised, totally scripted, and completely based on the cornerstone of "Oh, I get it. It's a metal band. Cool!" Needless to say, adult swim's many drooling metalhead veiwers can't get enough of it.
Metapocalypse isn't as great as I had hoped. The characters Pickle and Murderface are pretty funny though.
slip of the tongue perhaps,
Those idiots who drive around in a ridiculously raised pick up truck, making a top heavy vehicle even more top heavy and unstable
A:*gah*
B: "Whats the matter"
A: This dam prickup is blinding me.
B: Stupid thing's, as if there lights weren't blinding enough as it is.
Someone who jumps from one relationship immediately into another one.
Serial monogamists can not stand to be alone and often suffer from vast commitment and insecurity issues.
Because they jump into relationships immediately after the previous one has ended, serial monogamists typically don't take the time to reflect on their behavior or why their previous relationships failed; thus, they end up making the same relationship mistakes over and over again.
Person 1: Damn, Dustin already has a new girlfriend?! It's only been two weeks since he broke up with his fiance! I think he's a sociopath.
