A word representing anytime after noon. Used when greeting a person for the first time on any day when you didn't see or speak to them in the morning.

The period of time between 11 am and 1 pm. Not quite morning and not quite afternoon either. Commonly used around 12 am. Used in the same context as "Good morning", "Good afternoon" and "Good evening".

A combination of morning, afternoon and evening. A general all-purpose time-unlimited period of the day. Usually used when you've got up so late that you can't really say "good morning" any more, and even "good afternoon" is pushing it.
