An acronym meaning “Money is temporary, minerals are forever.” This is used by mineral collectors to describe a moment when they are encouraged to overlook the cost associated with buying new mineral specimens. Originally coined by founding members of the Young Mineral Collector’s group.
A mitmot is also known as a windowlicker or chinbiter. Basically a person incapable of caring for themselves whilst being oblivious to such things as deranged flatulence, trouser accidents, drooling.
