The team is now considered mediocre at best and can no longer compete with other great programs like Notre Dame or , more importantly, Ohio state. Michigan's coach is not very good compared to other coaches, (Jim Tressel, for instance) and the losing to Ohio state every year is likely to continue, which shows that all is right in the world and that Michigan represents every thing that is evil and unjust in this world.
