Men Over

A sleep-over event aimed solely at grown men. These events usually consist of activities such as playing video games, baking or cooking treats and meals, light alcohol consumption and general socializing. The events end with all participants sharing one large bed or sleeping area.

Men Overs, or "MENOVERS!" as they are often called, are not homo-sexual events but are sometimes referred to as such due to the level of comfort shown between each man involved. This actually stems from years of friendship which can create a Men Over style bond of trust.

Traditionally all of the men taking part will wear a pair of Long Johns, either throughout the event, or as sleep wear. This is not mandatory however, especially if partaking in a Men Over in a warmer climate.

The term "men over" originates from a phrase sometimes used in football commentary where it refers to a moment in play when one team has players free in space on the opposite side of the pitch from the player with the ball.

Mark, Andrew, Nicholas and Stuart were excited about the Men Over that was planned for Friday night.

Person A: "We haven't all got together in ages, what do you fancy doing?"

Person B: "Men Over?"

Person A: "MEN OVER!"

Crying over 5 men 

Defined as Showing the emotion of sadness with a hint of clowning specifically on Twitter over the members of One direction Niall, Liam, Louis, Harry and Zayn especially after the hiatus since they are sincerely missed.

Men Overheard 

Often found in pages in women's magazines. These pages are filled with quotes or small conversations said by men to other men, partners or simply friends. The main purpose is to entertain the reader as it shows men in an unintelligent light. The readers 'overhear' the speech then send it in. The magazine then judges if it is worthy of print.

Hot men overloaditis 

When you have an overload from seeing a hot man/men. This can be a video, edit or photo and you become addicted to looking at them. This could result in a crush.

Did you see Emily? She was watching watching an edit of young Leonardo DiCaprioand now she has Hot men overloaditis.

menoversary 

The monthly recurring date of a past event, especially one of historical, national, or personal importance. Often referred to as a "month anniversary." This is wrong, because "anniversary" comes from the root "ano" meaning year, while "menoversary" comes from "meno" meaning month.

I asked my girlfriend out on October 24th, 2005. Our 1st menoversary is on Thanksgiving, and our 2nd menoversary will be on Christmas Eve.
