Van Lente Rape

Van Lente Rape refers to when a character in fiction is raped. Said rape is later retconned to either not haviing been rape, or said rape being consensual. Gets it name when writer Fred Van Lent wrote a rape scene into The Amazing Spider-Man #605, and then due to backlash came out and said there was no rape, just some kissing on the kitchen floor.
Michelle Gonzales wasn't rape raped by the Chameleon, she was Van Lente raped by the Chameleon.
