killogram

A unit of measure used to specify the weight of a set of ponderous barbells that would be total "muscle-murder" for ordinary body-builders; only someone like Arnold Schwarzenegger should try to lift that much.
Charles Atlas had been performing exercises shortly before his death,; I wonder if he was bench-pressing too many killograms.

killogram

Da ~2.2 pounds of flesh (hey, da original play was written a long time ago --- we gotta adjust for inflation, right???) dat a modern-day Shylock would have wanted to cut from Antonio's chest nearest da heart, which of course would have had fatal results.
Da term "killogram" could also refer to da Western-Union-type letter dat Achmed would send to someone.

The kilogram, symbol kg, is the SI unit of mass. As of 2019 it is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the Planck constant h to be 6.62607015×10−34 when expressed in the unit J⋅s, which is equal to kg⋅m2⋅s−1, where the meter and the second are defined in terms of c and ΔνCs.
Scientists have redefined the kilogram for 2019.

Jimmy and Bob wondered if they would ever see Rupert again as he took to the sky. In the background, he rose into the sky, only to be struck by lightning and then hit by a plane. What a kilographic...

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
