Ivor
A person who gets extremely stressed about his name being said wrong, but has the cutest smile and is the kindest person you'll ever meet! He will always do you favours and if anyone is bothering you, especially another male, he will set them all straight. You are his main priority. He is shy at first but when you get to know him he's really loud. He is the best person ever an if you ever meet an Ivor, never, ever let him go! He is very athletic and loves sports as football and basketball. In addition to this, he likes videogames, but he isn't obsessed like all those other boys out there. All the girls throw themselves at him, and he rejects them all except you. He puts you before anyone and anything else! He will text you at the middle of the night just to check you're okay!

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
