ISTPs can be judgeful,rude,cold,closed off,BUT will come around if you mean a lot to them and confess that they werent right in one situation or another.
Sometimes jealous but know their worth.Dont like it being lied to,lie only if needed and like no one else.The best friends u could have bc theyre always there 4 you.Super smart with huge potentials/could be very talented sometimes not only in one thing but several.Could be social/extraverted when they want to,mostly like staying at home and doing whateva they like doing alone tho.Like having friends,but the most important to them is the close circle of friends.Cherish their private space.Better let them cool down when angry.ISTPs like money but only cause they know its worth.Are loyal.Best leaders.Will fght you if needed.Not afraid to stand their ground and protect themselves/people dear to them.Are sometimes too convinced in their opinion/beliefs to the point where they dont accept these of others even if theyre the right ones.You can't call them exactly soft until you know them.Are super loving,dont show it.Like helping people,compliments,gifts and attention,thinking in silence.Super scary when angry cause they could be pretty aggresive.Hate it when they think that someone's trying to make choices for them,make their choices themselves.Good advisors but could turn angry when you don't listen to their advice.Strong physically and mentally,you won't see their breakdown if you aren't special to them.Could seem conceited.

ISTP: A badass introvert
They love to explore the world with cool rationalism (basing opinions and actions on reason) and spirited curiosity. They mostly want to work alone but won't mind taking a peep on other people's life once in a while. They don't mind getting their hands dirty and pulling things apart and then putting it back together even better than before. They are friendly but private, calm but suddenly spontaneous. They like lending a hand and sharing their experience. They are great listeners, might not be the best emotional support but they give good advice!
About 4% of the world are ISTP's, woman ISTP's are much rarer and will be seen as tomboys from a young age

As an istp, reading the definitions that badass cajun resistor II and Eliteshadow 2 have made just tells me that you got involved with shitty people, if you had such a horrible time being with those people, then you shouldn't have at all. Saying that all istps assholes, useless, selfish doesn't mean we all are. Also reading your definitions shows me why your type (INTJ) is one of the most hated types.
Oh one more thing, this site isn't a place for you to vent your frustrations with istps, take it somewhere else.

I'm not an ISTP, but I sure as hell know for a fact that they are nothing like the recent nonsense being spewed out.
These hateful definitions do not reflect anything about ISTPs. However, it does reflect that the authors must be:
A) Extremely butthurt
B) Living inside their own bubble
C) Narcissists
D) Sociopaths (how ironic)
E) An absolute jackass of a person
...and most importantly...
F) a pathetic individual, likely an incel or hypermasculine misogynist, who still lives in their parent's basement.
Let's all press F for these sad individuals while the real ISTPs continue doing what they do best in life.
