iliathon

A 24 hour nonstop performance reading of Homer's Iliad. Can be simple recital, or more dramatized.

Comes from combining the title "iliad" with the greek tradition of the marathon.
Tempe Preparatory Academy in Tempe, AZ, should be noted as holding the first Iliathon to be broadcast live on the internet.
