iChat

The Default and only Instant Messing or "IM" application ("app") shipped with the "Macintosh OSX" Operating system.
iChat can connect to ".Mac" - A serive offered by Apple, AOL's "AIM" and a few others.
There was a cloned version of iChat for Windows in the past, but from fear from Apple legal, it was pulled offline.

iChat, it's like AIM, but better...

An iChat Vibe, is the particular tone one interprets through the text received in an iChat conversation. This is often unreliable, because of the inability to hear the tone intended.

Dan: Did you talk to Amanda last night, she said she was gonna IM you.

Antonio: Yeah but she was giving off this iChat vibe, and then she signed off. I think something's wrong

Ghetto ichat

Wanting but not having an instant messenger application, so to recreate the experience, going on chatroulette and clicking "next" until you and your friend find each other.

"Yo, I'm going to be at my grandmas house this weekend, and she wont let me download aim...wanna try ghetto ichat?"

"Miles and I tried ghetto ichat for like 2 hours last night, but we never found each other... only about 7,000 dicks."

In reference to the Headless Horseman, an "Ichabod" is a man in an online personal ad who will show you every private part he's got, but not his face, resulting in an endless array of headless profile shots.
