The name of a school break when there's actually a holiday where the students will be out for vacation.

"Sooooooooo, last Thanksgiving holibreak was boring as fuuuuuck!! My family didn't even get along well, and Christmas was just out the window... Oh well, I'll just see what this Christmas holibreak will lead to.... I should start hanging with my friends..."

Used in the same context as in jailbreak, but in this case, it means escaping from hell or literally speaking, escaping from trouble.

It's nothing short of a hellbreak that Aidan's alive today.

Hopebreak

When you tell your friends you were so hopeful about a new lover but it was over too soon to be considered a heartbreak.

You meet someone while traveling out of town, realize you are both from the same city, and spend almost a week together. You both have similar interests. You both have dogs and walk on the same beach?! Romance! You drive to airport together and make plans to meet at home that weekend. As agreed, you actually meet! And... you get the sob story about partner they are not in love with but they have cancer and only staying out of pity. A bit of internet digging and you find out -- married with two kids. (At least they are a cancer survivor?) Hopebroken! What a hopebreak.

I'll be holibrating at my grandparents' house over the winter break. Or, I holibrated the Fourth of July in Vegas.
