Asians use this phrase to refer to White people. This seems to be a transliteration of the Black slang term "honky". Pronounced like "hawn key".

Mother: Why you date han kee?
Daughter: Because han kee really good looking and rich!
Mother: You find nice Chinese man!
Daughter: No, I find han kee!
