The fear of Googling something you have a casual interest in learning more about, for fear of being constantly re-targeted with ads for that product.

I want to learn more about Goodyear Tires for my Camry, but I've got Googlephobia about all the ads I'll see from now till the day I die. I guess I'll just go down to Discount Tire instead.

A term used to describe a fetish one has with anything that involves Google, especially Google maps. A googlephiliac treats Google like porn, with the common link being that men are highly stimulated by visual images. However instead of a sexual drive, the googlephiliac spends hours a day searching the site for useless knowledge and memorizing nearby locations.

Googlephobe

Someone reluctant, or downright afraid, to use google.com, the most popular search engine on the web. Whether their excuse is one of ignorance, fear, or anything else, this would all fall under the category of googlephobe.

Mick: Hey, I heard they caught a 110-pound coelacanth off the coast of Indonesia. I need to look that up on Yahoo.
Mike: Yahoo?! Man, quit bein' such a googlephobe.

A person who, out of ignorance or just plain laziness, refuses to search Google for facts so basic and rudimentary that Google could retrieve them in a manner of seconds. These people much prefer to query other humans, especially while internet chatting.

"Dude, how many feet are in a mile?"
