(ironic, humorous, sometimes disapproving) A gongjuren is typically someone that is willing to or has to act as a yes-man, wokring for others without benefits. Especially in a one-sided relationship, a gongjuren is the person who, usually in order to show love and affection, is always conssumed but hardly gets anything in return affectively or materially.
