Ghostern
(1) A phrase describing a person working for a company or non profit organization in an EBL (Experience
Based Learning), or SBL ( Service
Based Learning) capacity that is not allowed to have an official title, or allowed to actually do much
work of significance to enhance said experiences –
that is placed in said company or non profit organization by a separate company as part of an educational program designed for the purpose of re-training displaced employee’s changing or enhancing their career path.
(2) An unofficial intern with no given actual title, working for a company or non profit organization with very little
work to do so they usually only do their homework in the workplace, or are assigned “
busy”
work of no real relevance to said experience
