Gentlefish

The term gentlefish derives from the word gentleman. Gentlefish act as gentleman and are nothing short of the greatest group on the planet. Gentlefish often are often found in groups that consist of 2 or more good friends who identify as "brofish" ( these are most often males) they have to have known eachother for at least 9+ years. There are different subcategories of gentlefish such as the "Brofish" . Which is a term in the group to refer to one another. In the rare case that there is a girl involved in the group they can be referred to as a "Sisfish". One more term that is widely used is "oddfish", which means that one of the members of the group or an outsider is acting strange. Gentlefish are mere gentleman with nothing but eachother in the big blue sea, and it sure is a beautiful sight to see.
Kyle (first gentlefish): yo, brofish!! You up to anything??
Payton (first gentlefish): not much, just hanging out with the gentlefish
Kyle: I mean, it's just us two
Payton: yeahhhh... but brofish foreva, right?
Kyle: on God's God

Gentlefication

Moving into a neighborhood in an effort to reduce crime, create harmony and build community. As opposed to "Gentrification," which changes neighborhoods by forcing out low income residents with high income folks seeking the next hip thing, Gentlefication helps long-term residents take back their neighborhoods, stabilize property values and build safe spaces for their children and grandchildren.
The local drug dealers were unhappy when the pastor asked his flock to move back into the neighborhood near the church to help in their gentlefication efforts.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
