To look at something long enough to get most(or all) available visual information, without wasting and/or using more time than necessary.

Used when a short look isn't enough, but a long look isn't necessary or possible.

First created and used in the early 21st century by a construction sorker/manager(myself), in southeastern Ohio.

Originally catalyzed to describe the time employees should invest in mid point quality assurance inspections.
I can't see that persons face, it might be someone important. Can you get a ganderpeek at them?
