Gamification

A cynical practice by corporate douches where workers are supposedly motivated to work even harder on menial, pointless tasks by rewarding them with lame titles, meaningless rankings, coupons or a variety of other real-life trash loot.
The person who licks the most envelopes, today, will get a coffee mugs with your boss' picture. Isn't that awesome?! See? We're all about gamification.

Gaytrification

Adjective: The process by which a neighborhood goes from undesirable to cool due to the influx and residence of an increased gay population
This area was horrible until gaytrification, now I can't afford a place here at all.

lamerific

Something so void of any redeeming quality that the term lame just doesn't describe it well enough.
Signing the paperwork for my new house was so lamerific, I am now tied to this thing for life.

Game-based fanfiction.

1. n., Fan fiction written around a particular video game, board game, PC game, etc, that employs characters and situations relevant to the game and its franchise.

2. n., Fan fiction that employs a particular game's resources to tell an original story. Storytelling and making online comics with a particular game for this purpose is called "machinomics," and making videos is machinima.

"Gameficker": One who makes gamefic.
1. If someone writes fanfic about the characters from "CLUE" or "Monopoly," that's gamefic.

2. Or, someone could make machinomics with The Sims 2 or Sims 3. Also, machinimas such as "Tales of the Past III" (World of Warcraft) and "Red vs. Blue" (Halo) can be considered gamefic.
