Foemance 

A romantic (or possibly platonic) relationship between two individuals that is heavily antagonistic- a dynamic laced with far more frequent arguments and verbal altercation than what typically comprises a romantic relationship. Most used in reference when the altercations are over inane matters.

"So what are Alice and Frank arguing about this time?"

"Apparently he ate most of the green M&M's, and I guess those are her favorite..?"

"Sheesh, that's even more petty than yesterday's argument. They're in such a foemance..."

a femance is the female equivalent to a bromance. When two straight females are ridiculously close to each other, and make advances to further their bond.

Laura and Laurel have such a femance going on, that Laurel held Laura's hand while Laura was taking a painful shit.

A "food romance", pertaining usually to someone who finds extreme pleasure in eating and who spends much time thinking about food.

Form with no function. The appearance of performance with no real benefit.

Examples:

A rear bumper of a car with large fake exhaust tips that aren’t even connected to the exhaust system.
