Obsession with National Security (yup)
Religion and Government are Intertwined (suppose a little shaky in regards to trump, but definitely an ongoing theme int he US)
Corporate Power is Protected (drain the swamp with Oil lobbyists in charge of the EPA right?)
Labor Power is Suppressed ("Budget Increases to OLMS by more $8M, an approximately 20% increase over its 2017 baseline appropriation. NLRB--$16% budget cut or a 6% decrease from 2017" the former to police unions and the latter to police employers btw)
Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts (global warming)
Obsession with Crime and Punishment (trump is very much on a 'tough on crime' platform. Also, literally wanting to label 'anti-fascists' as terrorists)
Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
Fraudulent Elections

a facist state

Where someone with power and influence can hide behind a guise or lie of helping someone while exerting their control over someone else's life by having the cops come pick them up, lock them up and label them guilty without a trial.

That bitch crossed the line, let's have her locked up and tell everyone she's a terrorist but make sure you lie and tell her you're only there to help. They don't call this a facist state for nothing!
