The word "fancazzista" (related to "fancazzismo" ) is a very peculiar one in
Italian: it obviously derive from the expression "fare un cazzo" (i.
e.: "do
nothing useful", like saying "doing a dick/fuck", as Italians ofte use "cazzo" to swear in place of the more common in English use of "fuck"). So "fare un cazzo" becomes the shorter "fancazzismo" and he who is so addressed will be a "fancazzista" (he who does
nothing of any sense, apart from looking after one'
s dick! ...)
A typical example of such use would - by chance - apply to Richard Gere, right in these days in
Italy to mind none of his business ...
Why so? ... He is probaly a finished Hollywood star and since is probably plenty of money and of time to spend (or throw away!!) he'
s come over to
Italy to sponsor some other "fancazzisti", who want to save immigrants just for fun ... They don't give a damm for the thing in itself they just want to be on tha front page of newspapers to appear as "the good ones" that fight the supposed "bad guys" in our government. ... None of his business ... but he pretend to be the Captain
