An underrated American Texas born actress, nicknamed the Texas twiggy growing up by family and friends for her slender skinny figure. Duvall is best know for her outstanding performance as Wendy Torrance in Stanley Kubrick’s horror classic The Shining opposite Oscar winner Jack Nicholson, as well as her role as Olive Oyl Robert Altman’s Popeye also starring the late great Robin Williams as the lead and Robert Altman’s chilling psychological thriller 3 Women opposite Sissy Spacek whom Duvall won best actress at the Cannes Film Festival for her role as Millie in the film. William Duvall 

The current lead singer of the rock band, Alice in Chains. William was the first choice of a replacement for Layne Staley

after his death in 2002 and went on to release Black Gives Way to Blue album in 2009 with Alice in Chains. Even though it is true that Alice in Chains will never be the same without Layne, but judging by his work on Black Gives Way to Blue, he's keeping the good name of Alice in Chains alive.
