A more advanced version of dispute.In this case it doesn't only encompass conflict or disagreement . Can also be used while asking for a price for a specific service for the first time. While there is no concrete way of using the word many have adapted it into their lexicon making it a staple in households and businesses to confuse guests or employees alike

My friends and i went into a store and asked for a price for alcohol. They told us they'd get back to us with a desput in a few minutes

La Dispute 

Most likely one of the best bands I have ever heard. Their lyrics actually mean something unlike most bands, they don't just mindlessly sing about love like retards, they sing and play it like people all around the music scene would see it. Not only do they write about "love", but endings of marriges, depression, etc. And the vocals are raw and you can hear how much Jordan means what he is singing, or yelling/screaming at that matter. In my opinion the best song is The Last Lost Continent, it's absaloutley amazing.

The name for dictators in small countries that think they are more important than they are. The term comes from how children play soldier by putting a kitchen pot on their heads to make people think they are real soldiers. Tinpot despots have a lot less influence in the world than they think they do. They often use military forve to get what they want.

Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe and Muammar al-Gaddafi of Libya are considered tinpot despots. Sudan, Eritrea, Chad, and Equatorial Guinea also have tinpot despots as leaders as well.
