Kind of like bank run, where you want to change your money into cash, but in crypto run you change your money into cryptocurrency such as bitcoin. However, how can you do that if/when it is not possible in the cashless future? In such a dystopian future, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin provide a safety net to this.

An alternative term for a net-runner. A cyberpunk character trope of a security and cryptography obsessed hacker. A Cryptorunner would be typically anti-corporate and anti-government as opposed to the more generic term of netrunner which could include corpo shills.
