To CROFT (verb)
The ability to drink huge quantities of alcohol, bypass Vomiting, to go straight to Comatose often accompanied by Mandymoments. Comas are generally preceded by loud off key singing of pop songs and attempts at various forms of modern dancing (punk, break etc). The use of tequila often acts as a catalyst for crofting. Comas are usually temporary until the next Croft episode, as early as the next day. Excessive Crofting often leads to becoming a local urban legend. While crofting can occur with both male and female species, it is by far most entertaining when performed by the female species.

She can croft with the best of them and last night drank 1/5th her bodyweight before falling over.

Wow he has been crofting every night this week , the bars will notice when he stops crofting.

Croft 

A now seldom used Mancunian colloquialism for an area of derelict ground.

As children growing up in 1970's inner city Manchester, we would spend many hours playing on nearby crofts - usually old pe-existing bombsites from WW2, or rubble strewn areas left over from the slum clearances of the 50's and 60's.

"C'mon Tommy, we're going to build a new den on the croft, cos them Rusholme lads have ragged the old one!"
