Colourguards are very special people. They are strong and they practice very hard to top the performance off with precision and skill. They are nice and hardworking people who never give up. TK Colourguards (Singapore) are a great colourguards and they're humble.

colorguard 

A group of highly talented teenage girls. They must be able to dance, spin various pieces of equipment, hold their head up and portray emotion, and march in time, and pretend that its not negative 100 degress outside. It is the colorguard's job to bring life to a piece of music. They must be able to use their bodies, along with their equipment, to give the music a personality. Contrary to popular belief, they are not the rejects of the Cheerleader, the dance team, ext. Any guard girl could stand in front of a crowd and scream "Go Team Go!" however I really doubt a cheerleader could pick up a rifle, throw a quad, and catch it, all while holding your head high and portraying the emotion of the show. Many members of the band/drumline like to blame the colorguard when the band/drumline does bad, however, it is usually not their fault. I say usually because every group, band, colorguard, && drumline, will have a bad show sometime. Putting that aside though, it is the colorguard's ability to come back from a bad show and be 10X fiercer then last week that makes them so freakin' ah-mazing. Never try to understand a conversation between guard girls. Being in a colorguard mean developing the best friendships ever and therefore, many inside jokes that you will never understand. In conclusion, colorguard is ah-mazing && anyone who gets on here and says they aren't should just go ahead and go have sexual intercourse with themselves, mkay? No, really, just do it!

Person 1: Dude, the Colorguard is Hott!
Person 2: I know right!

colorguard. 

+. an amazing activity where great choreography movements and the use of a flag, sabre, or rifle make an excellent show.

+. takes lots of practice.

+. have to learn how to march, jazz run, stay on count, memorize every movement, be prepared for the worst, get to places in a limited amount of counts, toss, drop-spins, plus be graceful during it all.

+. being a guardie is a great part of life. i wouldnt trade it for anything.

+. i dont know if id call it a sport. we do compete just like cheerleaders. so i suppose if cheerleading is a sport so is guard.

colorguarder 

A Kid who's confident, loud and most certainly didn't want to be a cheerleader.

Guy Guard Member:
He can be gay, but not always. He's strong, graceful and is always surrounded by 40 girls. He has real balls to go up infront of tons of people and do amazing shit to only get critisized.

Girl Guard Member:

A pretty and outgoing girl. She's sweet and helpful to anyone who wants to learn about guard. There loyal and care about they're guard family.

They are all amazing, and are a huge family along with the marching band :)

Damn, Those Colorguarders stick together.

Colorguard 

A section in marching bands that adds visual effect and serious awesomeness. They use flags (usually six feet tall), sabres, rifles, and ocassionally props. They are COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM CHEERLEADING. Seriously. No connection.
