When you let a shit sit for so long in the bowl, that on the bottom of the bowl you see a brown ring around the shit.

1. Making something that is bad sound okay but making it so the truth is drastically worse than what was said.
2. Similar to sugar coating, but to an extent that it is actually lying

Trump: We have had barely any (covid-19) cases or deaths in America. Children can't catch it. We are all fine.
Person (watching Trump on the news): Oh man, he's caramelizing the pandemic.
