Brisbane State
High School is a partially selective, co-educational, state secondary school, located in South Brisbane, Queensland,
Australia. It is a member of the Great Public Schools Association of Queensland, and the Queensland
Girls' Secondary Schools Sports Association. As of
2017, the school has 3,190 students, second only to Varsity Lakes Senior School on the Gold Coast. Since the school's fantastic academic record, it has become the flagship school of the department of education and thus, directed a lot of the budget to itself. It has problems of people cheating to get their child into the school and as a result, State High has been performing a crackdown on that activity. Its rival school is supposed to be Coorparoo Secondary
College, but due to a large amount of Coorparoo's funding going to State High, that rivalry is very much overlooked. State High also provides a record number of 1200 scholarships.
I go to BSHS.
My mum rented a place in west
end for a month so I could get into Brisbane State
High School (BSHS).
We're taking on State High this week, not
