A braid is a unit of measurement that can be applied to many different things. Its origin comes from the saying "hair" ex. (move that just a hair this way) This is just a new way to say this. You can also use any other hair style in place of braid ex. Tail, bun, rat tail, updo, messy bun exc.

Braid Station is the name of a Skytrain station in the Greater Vancouver Region. It is especially famous for the fact that it does not actually exist. Consequently, people have spent hours upon hours looking for this "Braid Station" but to no avail.
