ass-rivet

Any co-worker, usually one in a higher position than your own, who can't allow you to do your job without constantly checking in, emailing to see how you're doing, or looking over your shoulder, to the point where he or she seems permanently, physically attached to you.

Tom could have finished his project on time if that ass-rivet, Todd, had left him alone for five minutes.
