1.Extention or lengthening of straps/lashers on a courier-bag,in order to secure items for transportation on a bicycle.Most common"-addage" =strips of bike inner-tubes.
2.After-market modifications to a pistol.

He couldn't have managed to transport that painting,on a bicycle,without strap-addage.
