Zevonism 

Zevonism is the act and art of viewing life as Warren Zevon's songs narrated it. Gritty, dark, not always pleasant or happy, but very real.
Viewing the world with the same sardonic and cynical views, as if one finds life a bad joke but still smiles in spite of it.

"As a practicing follower of Zevonism, I view life as a horribly ironic joke, where-as death will be the punch line."

Zevinism

A term used for a random, non-sequitur notion that occurs in one's train of thought at any given moment in time. Usually an awkward moment at that. The term comes from an abstract thinker/comedian/musician named Zevin who started posting several of such terms on Myspace. The term soon found popularity in the in 2006 and has been used primarily for awkward thinking ever since that timeframe.

"Damn, what an odd, but highly intriguing idea. That would make a great Zevinism"

Zevonist 

One who follows the beliefs of Zevonism, the belief that Warren Zevon is God and that, quoting from the Zevonist bible, "Shit's all fucked up right now, but when Zevon dies, it's all going to get un-fucked up, cause Zevon's gonna be back in his domain and shit to rule shit... shit."

The center of this religion is a small house on Long Island that all Zevonists refer to as the Monestary. Actually, the only person who refers to it as the monestary is the guy who lives there. This is in part due to the fact that he is the only person who practices Zevonism in the world. He hopes to spread his beliefs to others, but no one listens to him because he's a crazy dumbass.

"You know that Zevonist guy?"
"Yeah, he's a crazy dumbass."
