Vibracea is a chronic condition characterized by a false vibrating sensation which typically affects the upper leg area where mobile phones are often carried. Those who suffer from the affliction may experience symptoms with or without the presence of a mobile phone. It is unknown if the source of the condition manifests from psychological or neurological sources. No known treatment currently exists. Long term effects are unknown. The condition is often interchangeably referred to as ringxiety, fauxcellarm and more specifically hypovibrochondria and phantom vibration syndrome.
