(Pronounced: "True-dat") 1. Slang for "True that," meaning "That is true."; 2. an affirmation by one bro to another bro on a statement; 3. while perhaps not THE truth, an agreement with a homie's opinion, whether it be a like or dislike; 4. Another version of the word ssrite.

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.
