Thumblast

Origin - Social Media jargon in association to private messaging apps, primarily, including but not limited to, Facebook.

1.) Verb - An easter egg planted in messenger by the app developer, whereby, the 'accidental' press of the "thumb's up" (👍) icon on the keyboard submits a ridiculously huge "thumb's up", also known as being thumbusted within the message thread as an embarrassing notification alert that one party of the relative conversation is:

a.) Currently cyber stalking the other party by checking the last time they were online

b.) Currently retracing the history of conversation with anxiety wondering why it is taking the other party so long to respond

c.) Currently actively engaged in behaviors such as the dot watch of the other party, thereby hinting at the perfect opportunity for dot-taunting.

ex. "It has been two hours since he responded, so I got worried. I check that his status was 'active 7 minutes ago'. I got even more anxious, so I was pressing on my lasy messages to check if they had been seen. That's when it happened. thumbsturbate

A masturbatory technique characterized by the use of a single thumb as the sole agent of action. Requiring high levels of mental focus and physical stamina, this ergonomically problematic style of masturbation is exceptionally inefficient, as the thumb provides little stimulation and success is dependent on the performer's ability to non-bodily induce ejaculation. It is also known to cause weather to change wildly, likely due to the disturbance of the laws of nature involved in the process. Citied as a major cause of global warming and climate change.

tumbeasts

Tumbeasts are creatures found on tumblr. They roam the data centre and help run tumblr, though sadly they usually go un feed, which causes tumblr to crash. They are often irritating due to how much they come up.

Thumbmaster

When playing the drinking game, King's Cup' (or 'Ring of Fire'), if a certain card is drawn by a person that person becomes the thumbmaster, and whenever they place a thumb on the table or floor everyone else in the circle must follow, and the last person to follow must drink.

Fred is thumbmaster. Fred places his thumb on the table. Everyone except Georgie notices and follows. Georgie is last, so she must drink.
