They're nothing like you've ever seen before.
Big hair, crazy antics.
Faris Badwan (Vocals), Joshua Third (Guitar), Coffin Joe (Drums), Spider Webb (Originally keyboard and Synth, now Bass) and Tomethy Furse (originally Bass, now Keyboard and Synth).
Their debut album Strange House was garage/punk. Their latest album, Primary Colours sounds more like Joy Division or Echo and The Bunnymen. They are AMAZING live. Wehn I saw them live, Faris commented on the stickiness of the floor for about 5 minutes, and the bugs in the purple light. Joshua was pulled into the crowd and had to retrived my an uppish roadie, who Faris then tried to choke with the Microphone lead.

I reccomend seeing them live. You will not be dissapointed.

I cannot convey how awesome The Horrors are. Give them a chance (:

A slang term that is traced back to Wexford, Ireland. The state of being completely annihilated, resulting from poor judgement regarding the alcohol intake in a given night. The real 'horror' will be the following morning, if you ever even make it home.

Matt: Did you see Christina last night?
Rocco: Yeah, what did she start drinking at 8AM? She was passing out all over the place.
Rocco: Even though she was in the horrors, I'd still hit it.

Peep the Horror 

A Twitch fad started by popular streamer Jerma985 and since picked up by several other streamers, where live feed of "the horror" is occasionally put on screen during a regular stream, such as gaming or chatting. Anyone who sees "the horror" finds it extremely funny, with laughing fits sometimes lasting hours, but every time it is shown, one of the viewers dies from unknown causes. Finding victims has proven difficult due to the global nature of Twitch viewership, and as such only 6 out of the estimated 70 victims of the trend have been identified and located, with the subsequent autopsies yielding no conclusive results as to the cause of death. This effect is only observed during the live streams; Twitch clips or externally recorded footage of "the horror" have been confirmed to not produce the same reaction, and were instead found by viewers to be mildly unsettling but otherwise uninteresring, with no fatalities recorded. While the nature and origin of "the horror" are currently uncertain, the current theory suggests a ▉▉▉▉▉ ▉▉ ▉▉▉▉▉▉ ▉▉▉▉▉▉
