What retail stores do when Christmas items are placed on the floor for sale immediately after Halloween. Skipping right past Thanksgiving.

"This store has placed Christmas items for sale really early, where are all the Thanksgiving decorations?" The stores sales are down and has chosen to celebrate Thankskipping this year.

Thankskipping

When a retail store places Christmas items for sale immediately after Halloween foregoing any opportunity to sell Thanksgiving related merchandise.

I went to the store to find a centerpiece for our upcoming Thanksgiving holiday feast only to find nothing but Christmas items in the store. This store must be Thankskipping the holiday this year.
