Referring to tally as a score or points, and to hall as a passage, it means that this leave is only just a point towards the goal essentially meaning talk to you later or I will visit you later. This “slang” has been tracked back to the Egyptians it’s widely considered to be what gave the band tally hall the inspiration for their name

Tally Hall 

Verb. To do a Tally Hall, you need to create a band that performed at shows, started making songs and albums, grow a loyal fanbase but then suddenly stop just to say that you would make songs again, but leave your fanbase with false hope.
Person: Hey, dude wassu- WOAH where did you go.
Random other person: I saw that too! He just did a Tally Hall and left us!

tally hall 

A band based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was formed in December of 2002. Tally Hall is under the Quack! recording label. The band members all wear different coloured ties.

Tally Hall also makes short movies. Both music videos and skits. Their best known video is probably Banana Man which can be found on both You Tube and Albino Blacksheep. They're CD Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum was released in November 2005. The tracks include Banana Man,Greener,Just Wuv,Good Day and more.

Tally Hall 

Aside from the other accurate definitions, they are one of the greatest underrated bands playing at Lollapalooza '08. Their current popularity status is surprising considering how amazing of a band they are. Check them out, give them money.
Listening to the music of Tally Hall brings on sensations similar to to ten simultaneous orgasms occurring all in your ears.

trucker's tan 

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
