TETSNBN is the Edition That Shall Not Be Named an acronym created by a member of Dragonsfoot as a term for the banned topic of 3E (3rd Ed D&D). this term was used frequently in the past and also currently on Dragonsfoot and is one of a list of several acronyms that users of Dragonsfoot[ need to [know.. A Term used to refer to the 3rd edition and the 3.5 edition of the Dungeons & Dragons game (produced) by Wizards of the Coast, used primarily by those who prefer the earlier (TSR-produced) versions. TETSNBN is pronounced “tets bin”. See also TATSNBN. This term was coined in 2004 and has been in wide use since then.

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
"I skeefed an apple off the neighbor's tree." "I skeefed some chips outta your bag when you looked away." "Don't skeef my chair when I go to the bathroom."
