Stataphobia 

An abnormal fear of research design and statistics—prevents publication, tenure, and scientific recognition. The word was originally coined by Prof. Ron Laporte of University of Pittsburgh and popularized by the "Supercourse" of Epidemiology team.
Stataphobia is probably a major cause of low output of scientific publications from developing countries.

In online games, STATFAPPER is someone, who constantly and publicly faps (praises) over his usually high stats (game results). Those people are in fact not so good, they are usually seal clubbers or stat padders.
